Video of the Month

We are going to start doing a Video of the Month as opposed to every week. :) This video is from January 2023 at Denny Falls, located in South Cumberland State Park. When there is a lot of water flowing, I think Denny Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area. The hike is a fun mixture of easy trail and rock-hopping. The final approach to the waterfall is a bit of an incline, but the payoff is worth it! Make sure you venture to the base of the waterfall to appreciate it's beauty. This area is also popular for rock climbing. On the map below you can see the route we took. We hiked in on the main Denny Falls Trail (marked in blue), then returned via the East Climbers Access Trail (marked in purple).  The access trail is much more strenuous, but it is fun hiking along the cliff line. In total, I mapped us hiking 3.8 miles. Denny Falls is located only about 5 minutes from Foster Falls, so you could easily visit both in one day.
