Video of the Week

This video of the week is from July 2021 at a very popular waterfall/swimming hole, Cummins Falls State Park. What is unique about visiting this waterfall is that most of the trail is actually just following the creek in the gorge up to the waterfall. This makes for a fun choose your own adventure hike! The creek on the way has a bunch of different little places to swim before reaching the big pool and waterfall. It is fun walking around on the waterfall tiers, but it is very slippery! This park requires paying for a permit to visit the gorge as they only sell a certain number per day. We highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible as it can be very crowded on the weekend.
